ABOUT ME
I am a makeup artist and recent graduate of Design for Stage and Screen (Character Makeup Design) at IADT, Dun Laoghaire. I have worked on several short and feature films, as well as theatre productions in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, the Gate Theatre, and others. THE CAULDRON OF SMITHFIELD
MAKEUP ARTIST AND TEACHER - BRADOG RYS
Gave several workshops teaching SFX makeup to children and adults in separate courses. I also worked as the key makeup artist for the Halloween night event as part of the Cauldron of Smithfield festival, designing and applying a range of character makeups and leading a team of artists.

OVERNIGHT - FEATURE FILM
MAKEUP ARTIST
Key Makeup artist for Overnight, filmed in Dun Laoghaire in June 2019. Duties included application of dirt and blood effects, applying temporary tattoos with continuity, and making special effects blood rigs, as well as styling and applying dirt effects to hair.

DREAM COMMUNITY TAIPEI
ARTIST
Participated in a month-long project in Dream Community art house in Taipei, Taiwan. Held weekly community art and music events, along with a parade celebrating Irish culture in the streets of Taipei, which myself and other artist designed and fully realised through costume and puppetry.

BANISHED - OPERA
MAKEUP ARTIST/HAIRSTYLIST
Worked as a team of 9 makeup artists, I was responsible for character makeup application and hair styling on a range of characters. I also assisted other makeup artists with various tasks such as curling hair, removal of makeup etc.

IRISH NATIONAL OPERA - AIDA
MAKEUP ASSISTANT
Applied makeup including temporary tattoos, false tan, stage base makeup, and theatrical warpaint to characters in a fast-paced environment, including backstage during a quick change. Assisted key makeup and hair artist by cleaning, touching up makeups and helping to set the makeup studios each evening.

THE GREAT GATSBY AT THE GATE THEATRE
MAKEUP ARTIST/ASSISTANT
Gave workshops to the staff of the Gate Theatre on how to achieve period accurate 1920s makeup and hair, so that they could do their own makeup for show nights, and applied makeup and styled hair for those unable to do their own. Assisted the key makeup artist with check ins and touch ups on hair and makeup.
